Heat stroke is the most dangerous heat-related condition, often caused by prolonged sun exposure, intense physical activity, or dehydration. Symptoms can appear suddenly, confusion, rapid pulse, nausea, severe headache, or even unconsciousness, and require immediate care.

  • Body temperature above 103°F (39.4°C)
  • Red, hot, dry, or damp skin
  • Confusion, dizziness, or disorientation
  • Rapid heartbeat or fainting
  • Nausea or vomiting

What Treatment Includes:

  • Dr. Bravo’s initial evaluation and treatment plan
  • Immediate in-room hydration with IV fluids
  • Nurse on-site to monitor vitals and responsiveness
  • Continuous updates to Dr. Bravo throughout the process
  • Cooling support (ice packs, damp towels, temperature regulation)
  • Additional medication is required for nausea or stabilization
  • All medical waste was removed, and the  area was fully cleaned after treatment
